Organic Sun Moon Lake Black Tea

Black tea in the Sun Moon Lake region in Taiwan was initially developed for export by the Japanese during their occupation of Taiwan in the years preceding and during WWII. Our tea is a premium handmade artisan tea that has a delicate, woody flavour that suggests sweet osmanthus, cinnamon, candied orange marmalade and a tiny hint of old-fashioned garden mint in the background.
